LA FUENTE DE SOCOPO and its surroundings is one of the most wonderful places we had a chance to stay in Venezuela. People running the posada, Wilfredo and Hilde, made us feel at home and treated with great kindness and generosity. We felt like a part of their wonderful family. Not only we enjoyed very much the cosy room and delicious homemade food but also had a chance to see all the touristic attractions of Socopo and its surroundings. Hilde introduced us to the history of ancient rocks with petroglyphs located all around the town. She told us about local believes and legends.
Thanks to Wilfredo and Hilde we’ve met Alejandro who took us for a rafting adventure in the most wonderful and picturesque place.
Everyone in the posada was so kind to us we can’t express our gratitude and astonishment. We left Socopo not only richer with great memories but also with a few new friends. Thank you so much and we hope to see you again!
