Hostal El Aguacate is a lovely, little hostel located in the most beautiful neighborhood of Cali. It is the perfect starting point for exploring the city, close to the most interesting corners and tourist attractions as well as bars, clubs, cafes, and restaurants.
We had a pleasure to spend there two nights. During that time we not only took a great rest before the hilly ride through the mountains but also spend some fun time with the hostel’s owners and guests talking and sharing meals.
This openness and friendly atmosphere is of great quality and a big advantage of Hostal El Aguacate. It is rare that we feel so relaxed and welcome in the places we visit. In El Aguacate they made us feel at home from the first moments and we appreciate it greatly.
Our room had a big bed, a big TV screen, and a private bathroom with hot water. There is a laundry service available so we were also able to wash our clothes.
The common area was inviting and comfortable, with hammocks to take a nap, couches, armchairs, and a TV if you don’t feel like going out, as well as a terrace where all the guests can cill on a hot evening reading books, having drinks and chatting with fellow travelers. There is also a small gym if, like Ben, you can’t live without sport!
We really loved our time in El Aguacate. Even though it is a very new hostel, they surely know how to attend their guests and make them feel welcome. Highly recommended!
