Hostal Marrokos is a lovely place surrounded by nature only 30 kilometers from Medellin. We had a pleasure to spend there two nights and enjoy peace and tranquility. The hostel is very colorful, not only thanks to walls painted with all shades of the rainbow but also because of many flowers and plants growing in the vast garden.
The food is served in a common room, which in fact is a separate building where all the guests gather to enjoy their meals. The chef is a very cook therefore we can without hesitation say that every dish served by him is very tasty.
Visitors spending time in Hostal Marrokos will not complain about boredom. There are many activities available and everyone will surely find something to their liking. If like us, you prefer to stay active, there are many walking and bicycle routes you can choose to enjoy the spectacular landscape. You can also use the gym equipment available for all the guests, play volleyball or take a cooling bath in the outdoor bathtub.
For those who prefer to relax and take a rest, there are books to read and hammocks to have a pleasant nap in the shade.
The rooms are very cozy, with big beds and TV screens, there is hot water in the shower and free Internet for all the guests.
We recommend the hostel to everyone visiting Colombia. It is located very close to the Medellin airport, therefore, it is a great spot to take a rest after a long journey and charge the batteries before exploring the city.
