GUNSI TEI WEI RESORT – This river lodge located around 40 minutes by boat from Atjoni- the farthest village accessible by road, is praised for their extraordinary views. To reach lodges, kitchen and social center, guests need to climb a small hill but it is worth every step. Most of the wooden huts sat right at the hill are overlooking the river and the jungle. From your very own wooden verandah, you can admire the sunset and the river life with boats passing by, women washing clothes and children playing in the water.

The resort is run by a wonderful family. We got to know the owner who himself cooked for us a wonderful supper and a great breakfast. It was a very relaxing stay and we recommend Gunsi to all those who want to distance themselves from the world, enjoy nature and try the slow life at its best.
