Staying in Hotel Behar in Goražde was a spontaneous decision. Nevertheless, we enjoyed it very much. Located in the city center, the hotel is a popular meeting point among locals who come here gladly to have a coffee or a meal. First of two terraces overlooks the street and the other one, much more beautiful, the river. Sitting there and admiring the sunset we had a really nice conversation with the hotel’s owner and we learned a lot about Yugoslavia and the current situation in the Balkans.
Behar’s restaurant is a very bright and open space, perfect for parties, weddings, and business meetings. The rooms are cozy and clean and the staff very polite. It’s a great spot to set off for trekking in the mountains or even to visit Montenegro.
