Hotel Bocaino – It is totally worth it to travel to Boca the Yuma which is about 70 km south of Punta Cana. It’s a tiny and calm fishing village, away from the hustle and the masses of tourists at other places on the island.
The hotel Bocaino has 5 comfortable matrimonial rooms with an ocean view. All of them include air-conditioning, private bathrooms, and flatscreen Tv.
The Wifi connection is stable all over the property. There is a swimming pool with showers right next to the restaurant EL Arponero, which is part of the hotel.
Boca the Yuma
The restaurant serves the absolute best seafood. On the menu are pizzas, spaghetti, and many more delicious meals. It is located directly at the shore and the incredible view will certainly improve your experience.
You can visit the national park Del Este and the cave Berna which are both only 1 km away from the hotel. Do not forget to bring along mosquito repellent and long sleeves when you enter the park.
If you rather relax at the beach you should walk through the village and head the other way. For only 20 Dominican Pesos you can cross the river in order to get to a sandy beach where you will be all by yourself. The staff is super friendly and will help you where ever they can.
