Estancia la Canada is a hidden treasure of Venezuelan Andes. High in the mountains, surrounded by trees and picturesque hills, right at the river bank, this posada is an excellent place to disconnect, take a deep breath and a good rest.
In Estancia, they know how to take care of their guests. The food is delicious and the staff is available and helpful at all times. We couldn’t get enough of fresh raspberry juice and hearty soups prepared by the lovely chef. Rooms and cabins are very cozy and comfortable with beautiful wooden furniture and huge beds. It was wonderful to fall asleep with the soothing sound of the river.
During the day we set off for a hike on one of many trails surrounding the posada and could enjoy the entertainment room with pool billiard, big library and many board games.
We highly recommend Estancia la Canada to everyone visiting Venezuela, it has all what a tourist needs and seeks to enjoy the country.
