Hosteria Pantavi was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places we stayed in, not only in Ecuador but also throughout our entire South American journey.
This place has an incredible charm and atmosphere which makes it one of its time. All the interiors were carefully designed to perceive the traditional Ecuadorian spirit and at the same time to keep it bright, inviting and cozy.
The entire common area including the dining room as well as the launch, the bar, and even the gardens, are filled with art: paintings, collages, and ad sculptures. All that, together with fresh flowers, wooden furniture, and big windows, make this place so pleasant to spend time and relax.
One of the biggest advantages of Hosteria Pantavi is surely the incredible garden full of hidden corners and benches, colorful flowers, fountains and little paths. It gives the Hosteria a certain kind of magical atmosphere and mysteriousness.
There is also a big swimming pool, sauna and a Turkish bath available to all the guests, as well as bicycles and horseback rides for those who prefer to spend their time actively. There is also an impressive collection of books, so you can also grab one and hide on the porch and enjoy the afternoon.
What a beauty!
It is very important to mention the food served in Pantavi. Everything was absolutely delicious. Starting the day with a huge breakfast containing fresh fruits, three different kinds of pastry, eggs, yogurt, and cereals was what we wished for after a long ride. Great lunches and dinners with homemade soups, fresh vegetables and great meat(we still can’t forget this amazing fish!) followed by tasty desserts took us to heaven and back!
But the most important advantage and the greatest feature of Pantavi are the people who work there. Everyone whom we had a pleasure to meet there was incredibly kind and helpful. They certainly made us feel at home and took great care of us. This is a great a rare quality and we are both impressed and thankful for getting to meet the Pantavi’s staff.
