RESORT LAS ALDEAS in a beautifully located place only 10 km South from Armenia, Colombia. Surrounded by nature and I disturbed peace and quiet, this hotel is a dream choice for those seeking relaxation and a break from busy life, work, and travel.
During our stay, we had more than enough time to recharge our batteries and enjoyed the nature very much. Woken up by the many birds singing and living in the are we started our day with freshly brewed, local coffee and a nutritious, traditional Colombian breakfast. Calentao- a mix of rice and beans served together with scrambled eggs and arepa, keeps you full for many hours.
There was a swimming pool to cool down drying the day and a mini football field. The hotel produces its own ice cream so we tasted some delicious flavors like ‘arequipe’ similar in flavor to dulce de leche.
Our room was very spacious and like all the rooms in Las Aldeas had a balcony overlooking the surroundings. It was divided into a living space and a bedroom so we could sleep and work without interrupting each other.
