After a long, exhausting journey through rain and mud, Iwokrama River Lodge seemed to us like a paradise hidden in the forest right at the riverbank with spacious loans and beautiful wooden lodges.
It was wonderful to lay in the hammock, read a book and enjoy the view of the water and the jungle. If you wish you can go for a walking tour around the lodge which is extremely beautiful and interesting as the lodge is a part of the Iwokrama National Park.
The food is absolutely delicious so prepare for being fed very well. The restaurant is an open space located on the first floor of a round building, and wherever you sit, there is no doubt you will enjoy your breakfast with a lovely view. Don’t miss the chance to visit them, they are one big family there and will surely make you feel like a part of it.
