Hotel Bernhards is a cosy, family-run hotel at the foot of the Alps. Located in Oberaudorf, a few kilometres away from the German-Austrian border is a great starting spot to explore the mountains and the perfect resting place after a long day of hiking (or cycling!).
Divided between two neighbouring buildings, Bernhard’s represents classical Bavarian style and atmosphere. The interiors are full of colours and tastefully picked furniture with folk decorations. The restaurant is completely full in evenings which is good enough proof that the food served there must be special.
Rooms are very spacious and recently renewed with windows overlooking the village and the mountains. Even though we’ve spent there one summer night, we are sure it is a wonderful location to stay over during wintertime. The closeness of the Austrian border is definitely a huge advantage. Staying in Bernhard’s one can not only indulge in the Bavarian cuisine and tradition but also enjoy Austria’s most outstanding locations such as closely located Walchsee. We recommend Hotel Bernhard’s.
