HOSTERIA WAIPA is like we repeated it many times during our stay, another world and completely different reality than life outside its gates. It seemed to be an oasis, where the only thing you need to do is relax. We loved the architecture of the building. It remainder us of old movies and brought back the stories from books of South American authors. It resembles Spanish style but has this unique flare which we love so much. Hostería Waipa has a wonderful patio surrounded by orange-bricked walls. There is a beautiful swimming pool in the middle with a little waterfall and flowers planted around it.
Wooden elements, photos, paintings, and sculptures give the hostería a unique charm. Rooms are spacious, with king-size beds, mini fridge, TV and air conditioner. Thick walls and stone floors keep the interior cool even in the hottest days. To be honest we slept there like babies and had a wonderful rest. On the first floor, you can find a restaurant that serves delicious food, fresh juices, and to-die-for cakes. All the staff members together with owners are incredibly friendly and kind. It was a pure pleasure to spend two nights in Hostería Waipa and we recommend it without hesitation to all those who visit Puerto Ordaz.
