Hostal Campestre La Curva was surely one of our most pleasurable stays during this long journey through Colombia. Located in Roldanillo in Valle de Cauca- this place offers much more than anyone would have thought.
The hostel is a family run business and this is exactly how we felt from the very first moment- a part of a family. The owner and all the staff are wonderful, kind and helpful people who, if you only let them, will make your stay unforgettable.
La Curva is located 2 km away from the town center in a calm and peaceful countryside. There is a huge swimming pool, jacuzzi and a Turkish bath for all the guests seeking relaxation. All the rooms are cozy and comfortable, with Internet access, Direct TV and private bathroom. There is a spacious common area perfect for meals and a kitchen available for all the guests to use.
But what is most amazing about Hostal La Curva is the possibilities it gives to spend just the best time and have loads of fun. Thanks to the owner of the hostel we had a pleasure to enjoy all the activities available in Roldanillo.
Super relaxing!
The town is a famous destination for all the fans of cycling and paragliding. Tourists can explore the surroundings both by pushing up the green hills or flying over them. No matter what way you choose- it will be spectacular.
Another attraction is the Museum of Omar Rayo, one of the most famous Colombian artists. After that, you can visit the local winery and taste their specialty called “vino avocado” which has nothing to do with this delicious fruit but is well worth trying.
If you don’t feel like any of those things- don’t you worry, a horseback riding trip through the countryside will please the biggest malcontents!
All of that can be arranged for you in the hostel and you don’t have to worry about a thing! And when you get hungry they will even take you to one of many great restaurants in the town. Personally, we recommend with all our hearts Tricota Coffee and Bike and Cali Cali!
Rolnadillo is one of our favorite addresses in Colombia and we had an amazing time there. Don’t miss the chance to visit it during your travels in Colombia and don’t miss the chance to stay in Hostal La Curva, highly recommended!
