HOTEL FRANCES LA MAISON turned out to be one of our most pleasurable stays during five months of traveling in Colombia.
Located in Pasto, a lovely city in the mountains, Hotel Maison is surely a hidden gem of the region. The hotel is a very beautiful place but we have to admit that it owes half of its unique charm to Mr. Patrice- the owner and the heart and soul of Hotel Maison. Patrice together with his kind, polite and very helpful staff made us feel at home from the very first moment. They all spread the atmosphere of genuine warmth and cheerfulness so hard to find in many other hotels and posadas.
All the interiors are tastefully designed and the wooden floors and warm colors make the hotel very inviting and homey. In the morning all the guests are welcome to have a delicious, big breakfast prepared with fresh ingredients. The choice is quite vast as there are different kinds of eggs, cereals, granolas, yogurt, fruits, freshly pressed juices and very tasty, strong coffee.
Sweeeeet place
If you look closely, you can find many beautiful, little sculptures and other pieces of art placed all over the hotel. Those beauties were handmade by Patrice’s wife and are a true decoration and a wonderful, personal accent.
Talking about other conveniences and great features of La Maison, we have to mention the presence of a computer available to all the guests. There are also books and Netflix if you seek relaxation and entertainment in the evening.
We had a wonderful stay in Hotel Frances La Maison. From the bottom of our heart, we recommend it to all travelers exploring Colombia, but also to families and businessmen. It surely meets the expectations of all!
